Man trespasses, strips, then waves to housekeepers
Lawrenceburg Now
A Lawrenceburg man garnered multiple charges late last week after he trespassed onto a property, then stripped and began waving at persons inside the house.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that fifty-year-old Douglas Euing Tucker, Jr., of 301 Tipton Street was booked through the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges that include aggravated criminal trespassing, vandalism, indecent exposure, automobile burglary, and public intoxication.
Officers were dispatched to a home located at 341 Weakley Creek Road just after 9:00 a.m. The owner reported that Tucker had entered her property through the yard crew’s gate, driving his car some 1,200 feet onto the driveway. She said that he “stripped down naked,” stood in front of a glass window and began to wave at the housekeepers inside.
The housekeepers told officers that they had been inside of the home when they noticed Tucker standing outside, naked, waving at them. They said that they quickly reported the matter to their employer.
Shortly after leaving the scene the reporting officer was asked to respond to the address once more. One of the housekeepers reported that she had found Tucker’s wallet inside of her car and realized that he had gained entry without her permission. She said that nothing appeared to be missing.
Officers noted that Tucker appeared to be intoxicated at the time the incident occurred. When they questioned him, he allegedly admitted that he had used crystal meth in the hours prior to the incident.
Tucker was incarcerated in lieu of a $32,000 bond. He has been scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on February 3, 2017.
